With Season 1 under her belt, Parrilla told Once Upon a Time Season 1 DVD post during upfronts week in New York that she is anxious for some insight into what is in store for her deliciously evil character.
I would love to see what happens between Once Upon a Time Season 1 and Regina, Parrilla said. Ultimately for her, that has been the driving point the threat of losing her son and now it is actually happened. I would love to see how that relationship salvages. The season ended with magic being restored to the world, and Regina is ready to work that mojo.
Parrilla might play the Evil Queen, but she is not like her character. If magic existed in the real world, she said she would put that power to good use. If you spent your whole life worrying about who is your real mom and who is a step, birth or biological. So glad this show has been renewed!
This is a very good show. It requires some thought and I enjoy that. My hope, however, is that the producers are not planning on a five or six year run because I am pretty sure that would ruin it. Baelfire is an awesome character and I really do not want it to turn out that he missed more than 10 years of his child life. Actually, I want a time travel aspect to make it so Rumpel reunites with young Baelfire played by Dylan Schmid.
Also, after countless years of being imprisoned by Regina, I want Belle to have her own issues to work through and sometimes Rumpel must be the calming force in the relationship. In other words, I want them to have a real relationship where both parties have their flaws and the help each other get through the harshness of their life experiences.
There are plenty of sell dvds online out there where casts are interviewed with only speculation and nothing is said about what takes place in a seaon ending episode.
